Rescue Ranch UK was developed by Dina Shale after she was asked to save and rehome abandoned and emaciated animals off the streets of Leicestershire in 2018. Dina has always had a passion for helping non-ridden or poorly animals. The charity gives the animals the time and care to heal and recover. During their time with us, some are trained and then used by our sister not-for-profit organisation, The Way of the Horse, to provide therapeutic support to children and adults with mental health conditions, learning difficulties and emotional or behavioural challenges, where traditional therapies have failed.

Rescue Ranch UK is a registered charity (Charity No: 1183565) that provides a safe, loving home where the animals can naturally recover, both physically and mentally before being educated using natural horsemanship methods to have a life that they couldn't have had before. If they show ability and interest, they will be schooled to a standard where they can be ridden or driven before leaving our establishment for a new home. They will be rehomed under the strict rehoming policy, with full vetting and inspection of prospective owners being applied.
